LaShesia Holliday has joined the OIEW team as the new Engagement and Wellbeing Coordinator. She came to Pitt Wellbeing from Providence Connections, a social-services agency on the North Side, where she worked as a family development specialist, managing a caseload of more than 70 families.
A graduate of Pitt and Community College of Allegheny County, she is currently pursuing a master's degree from the School of Social Work.
As the University's inaugural engagement and wellbeing coordinator, Holliday will support programs, workshops and outreach events that improve the campus climate by growing professional development and cross-cultural networking.
Holliday also will work with other on-campus and off-campus partners to answer questions and facilitate open communications that reflect Pitt's commitment to providing a welcoming and positive environment for working and learning.
