RespectEdu for Faculty & Staff: Title IX and Clery Act

Please note: This course is required for all new hires at the University. It will be accessible within seven to 10 business days of the employee's hire date. In addition, all employees are required to re-take the training after six years at the University.

It is the responsibility of everyone in the University community to maintain a campus environment that is free from discrimination and harassment. This learning experience is designed to equip faculty and staff with the knowledge and confidence to act in accordance with Title IX and The Clery Act. It explores the legal foundations, reporting obligations, and practical approaches to creating a safer campus environment.

Recognizing and Reporting Child Abuse: Mandated and Permissive Reporting in Pennsylvania

Please note: The processing time for your credits to transfer from Provider to Department of State to your PA Board is 7–10 days.

Pennsylvania's Act 31 requires all professionals in the state who regularly come in contact with children to receive training in the recognition and reporting of child abuse. Through its Pennsylvania Child Welfare Resource Center and its Continuing Education program, Pitt’s School of Social Work has developed this comprehensive online program.
